  Ensure that RA's Managed Service Provider is following Rockwell Automation IT Standards and also perform audit reports on the performance of the Managed Service Provider. Highlights include creating a monitoring dashboard that reconciles the CIs in our CMDB against the devices that are monitored by the infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Spectrum, Nimsoft and Cisco Prime). This dashboard is used to not only provide an overall metric of the percent of our environment being properly monitored, but is also used as an impetus to have our support teams investigate the gaps that were found. The following list is just a sampling of some of the solutions that I designed/implemented: - Integrating the SM7 wizard functionality within the Service Catalog to provide more robust functionality and extend the usability of the Service Catalog. These more complex service catalog items had multiple forms associated with them, as well as more sophisticated data validations and user interface- Successfully tailored integration with Xmatters/Alarmpoint utilizing web services to add/update assignment groups within Alarmpoint from SM7 assignment forms- Successfully built Perl SOAP client (utilizing SOAP-LITE library) to integrate with SM7 Web API (specifically the Incident, Configuration and Request Management WSDLs). Set up the API to utilize SSL with 3rd party Certificate Authority- Created an entirely new module within SM7 to allow Rockwell Technical leads the ability to administer their own scheduled maintenance records for their respective assignment groups. The administration form used data validation to ensure that only certain values could be passed to the RAD expressions that were then programmatically generated when they added the new maintenance task. - Developed multiple complex change and request management workflows. The workflows were tailored to reduce man hours for change administration/request fulfillment, as well as maintaining data integrity through validations and automation.- Created historical activity tracker for modules that needed to be tracked, but weren't out of box (Request Quote records and Operator records)In addition to development, I also would troubleshoot complex issues during high priority system down events and perform more complicated support tasks like application patching.
