I was enrolled in two courses (“International Criminal Law” and “International Legal Approaches to Terrorism in the 21st Century”) taught by experts and practitioners in international humanitarian law and international human rights law, including judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and professors. In addition to the time spent in the classroom, we visited various international courts, tribunals, and organizations to develop a more complete understanding of their role in international criminal law and counter-terrorism.
