      Just some of the career experiences and highlights I am grateful for having and learning through since assuming this role are: guiding the ADC and the faculty who depend on us through the transition to an online learning environment through the global pandemic of Covid-19, assuming responsibility as the business lead for the enterprise-wide choice and implementation of a new learning management system across the university, serving as member of General Faculties Council and as the Chair of the GFC Teaching and Learning Committee and member of the Academic Planning and Budget Committee, leading the campus-wide annual celebration of Teaching and Learning (Celebrate!), and chairing the Provost's Generative Artificial Intelligence Working Group. Show less HR faculty member (progressed from contract to limited term, assistant, associate, and then full professor) in the Bissett School of Business. Proud recipient of the MRFA Teaching Excellence Award in 2017 (one FT faculty honoured each academic year with this award). Courses designed and delivered: Strategic Human Resources Management (capstone), Employee Relations, Introduction to HR Management, Organizational Learning & Development, Management Principles & Practices, Employee Recruitment & Selection. Highlights of academic service include: member and vice-chair of Collective Bargaining Team, coach for business case competitions (lifelong connections and podium every time!), MRU facilitator for Community Service Learning (CSL), Chair of HR Program Review (2017 and 2024), and past discipline coordinator for faculty and curriculum in the HR degree program.
