  Motivation behind ‘ATHA’The motivation behind 'ATHA’ was an underlying urge to appreciate Yoga in all its dimensions and to encourage and support the journey of every individual towards self-transformation by exploring these different dimensions.Our Purpose:Today ‘Yoga’ has become very popular all over the world with innumerable modern styles being introduced. However, in the midst of it all, many have lost sight of the true and essential principles of this ancient and profound discipline.Yoga is much more than performing a particular posture or asana – asana practice is only one aspect of it. Yoga is a comprehensive system that integrates the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions… a system which integrates the body, breath, heart and mind leading to self-development, self-awareness, and to finding a deeper meaning in life.At ‘ATHA’ we seek to explore and refine all these different dimensions of our human system through a consolidated practice of asanas (physical postures), pranayama (conscious breathing), chanting, and meditation.
