Even though large number of studies have been conducted to understand the mechanical properties of GPC, attempts on the investigation of hybrid fibre reinforced ternary blend geopolymer concrete (HFRTBGPC) beam column joints under reverse cyclic loading is limited. The experimental programme consists of casting and testing of plain and fiber reinforced GPC exterior beam column joints by varying percentage of steel and polypropylene fibers. Show less

Hence the disposal of this material becomes a big problem.The aim of this project is to find methods to improve the physical and engineering properties of the marine dredged spoil so that it can be used as a landfill materialThe physical and engineering properties of Red Earth and Dredged Spoil are determined for comparison.The properties of the dredge sample are improved by mixing it with red earth.The replacement of even 30% red earth is economical and utilizing plastic wastes for stabilization leads to multiple environmental and social benefit. My key experience with Atkins has been in the areas of structures design, inspection, assessment and contract procurement for TII and numerous Local Authorities in Ireland.• Irving Oil Refinery Laboratory Building Assessment: Structural assessment of the selected areas on the Laboratory Building at the Whitegate Refinery in Co.Cork. Studied the Inspection report and carried out the assessment for the building using Midas Civil and prepared Assessment Report. (Nov 2022 to Jan 2023).• Munster Bridge Assessments 2022 – Eirspan Task Order 327 Structural Investigations: Design Engineer: Responsible for undertaking the Stage 1 & Stage 2 Structural Assessments for some of the structures to TII AM-STR-06056 and AM-STR-06057 on behalf of TII. Involved in the Assessment of Leap Bridge, Carrigpahooca Bridge Assessment etc. It consists of various structures like RCC Culvert along with Masonry arch bridge, Integral RCC minor bridges in skew etc. The structures were modelled in Midas Civil and checked the Adequacy. Preparation of Calculation sheets and Final Report.(Nov 2022 to Jan 2023)• UNG- Seanadh Mhach 2023 Ongoing - Involved in the design boardwalk using recycled plastic (Ecoplastic) in Seanadh Mhach scheme, Co Galway. He completed the detailed design of Ecoplastic Broadwalk with Manufacture’s specification along with drawings. (Jan 2023 to Feb 2023)• Coolock-Malahide Road Bridge 2023 –Carry out the structural assessment of the Coolock-Malahide Road Bridge for an Exceptional Abnormal load vehicle (referred to as Notified vehicle) travelling from north from Dublin Port to the M50.
