  My time at Home Depot played a huge rule in my growth as an employee. I learned many new physical skills, such as operating a number of electrical lift machines (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.), as well as as customer service, and leadership as part of being assigned my own department. Being in a challenging role that required an emphasis on time management and problem solving, as well as physical endurance, really helped me build a solid foundation as an employee.

  My experience working as a Treasure Truck associate was a very immersive customer service experience. Given that Treasure Truck is essentially a mobile amazon pickup location that hosts promo events, the workday is spent immersed in communicating, playing games, giving away promotional items and constantly interacting with customers and anyone else interested in what we were doing. Spending up to 10 hours per shift in this type of environment really taught me how to navigate the customer service experience and develop a greater appreciation for the industry as a whole.
