  Responsible for Siemens & Ericsson Projects for Installation & Commissioning of different landline & wireless/GSM switch’s.Key Deliverables:Lead the team of 10 to 15 Engineers and four to eight Technicians. Liaison between the private multinational GSM operators and within the BSNL for the POI connectivity of the GSM services at the initial stages of launching the CellOne/Excel Brands of BSNL. Lead the team for commissioning and launching of Comverse(U.K) voicemail services for the north India independently. Maintained the daily log files and the life line cycles of the GSM Ericsson switch and on all nodes network wide including (HLR, MSC, Node B, and RNC) and UMS Comverse switch. Planned and optimized Microwave/Transmission Network and Leased Lines by provisioning of transmission paths for GSM Networks. Analyzed the daily traffic reports of the Network and took the correction measures accordingly for the smooth and congestion free flow of the traffic.  Liaison with vendors, OSS, field technicians, planning department, Radio Engineering and traffic engineering departments to update database Liaison with the private operators like Connect (HFCL)/ESSAR & SPICE for interconnectivity and POI. Supported on site Engineers and Quality Management team members with customer interfaces as necessaryKey Achievements: Lead the team for installation and commissioning for AXE-10(Ericsson) Switch –MSC (Mobile switching service centre), HLR (Home location register), VLR (Visitor location register), EIR (Equipment identification register) ,GPRS and Transport part (STM1, STM4, and STM16) thus enabling BSNL to start their first ever GSM services in North India Lead the team single handily for installation and commissioning the OTA(Over the Air) server for BSNL first time in north India by interacting with Smart Trust (Sweden) Key contributor in Installation and Maintenance of UMS (Unified Messaging System) of M/S Comverse U.K. Show less
