I have also played a critical role in operationalizing vital facilities at a newly built satellite base station in Southern India and implemented innovative solutions for satellite networks leading to improved data transmission rates by over 20%.Lt Commander – PROJECT MANAGEMENTFunctioned as Project Manager at the Naval Head Quarters, New Delhi, to execute a large refit cum upgrade project worth INR 2000 Cr for the largest ship of the Indian Navy. Collaborated extensively with various cross functional teams, Russian OEMs as well as Government Stakeholders and effected multimillion $ payments for the internationally outsourced work.DEPUTY MANAGER – LOGISTICS & SCMHeaded a diverse team of 40 dockyard personnel, managed a budget of INR 70 Cr and controlled spares inventory worth INR 30 Cr for a premier naval ship repair yard. Instituted and implemented an e-procurement cell and improved processes for procurement cases leading to gains in time saving in terms of implementation of new projects/ delivery of spares by 20%.TEAM LEADER – OPERATIONS, LOGISTICS & SCMAs part of the 1st assignment in the Indian Navy, led a team of 25 specialist sailors to handle the RADAR operations on INS Vikramaditya. Implemented out of the box solutions and indigenized several Russian origin radar components, leading to improvement in equipment availability as well as cost savings. Show less
