  At this large, diverse, chemical plant, I gained valuable experience on plant operations and technologies. I started out in the process technology group developing new products and providing support to the production units. My next assignment was serving as the plant engineering coordinator. After that role, I then worked directly in one of the production units which made glycol ethers, ethanolamines and propylene glycol.

  Initially hired to serve as plant engineer and production support. Took over responsibility for production of small chemical plant. Participated on team that develop and commercialized a new, very profitable laundry detergent additive. Moved from an operations role to engineering role after company acquired by Rhone Poulenc. As a member of the corporate engineering group, I was responsible for a engineering team that provided technical support to ten manufacturing sites in the US and Canada.

  During my time at CH2M HILL and a predecessor company, Lockwood Greene, I primarily managed projects in the chemical industry for clients which included BASF, Bayer, Eastman Chemical and EMD Chemicals. Other industries serviced included general manufacturing, food, oil, carbon fiber and ports & marine.
