      I was involved in the following activities:(1) Research: leading role in two observational studies aimed at evaluating the presence of neglected tropical diseases among migrants at local and national level. In both studies I worked in close collaboration with clinicians and medical anthropologists.(2) Teaching: teaching assistant in elective courses (“Social determinants of health and health inequalities”, “Health and migration”) and compulsory courses (“Public health for nurses”, “Hygiene and preventive medicine”) for undergraduate medical students at the University of Bologna; classes where delivered through frontal lectures and small groups work to an average of 200 students.Trainer in three seminars on social determinants of health and teaching methodologies at the International Trainers of Trainers (Latvia, Romania, Poland) within the European Project “Equal Opportunities for Health: action for development”; classes were based on interactive sessions and small groups work to an average of 25 adult learners.(3) Project management and administration: administrative and financial management of national and European research projects dealing with reporting to funding agencies, contracting researches and external suppliers.
