  I work for a busy family practice office with two medical doctors and four nurse practitioners. Our office specializes in family medicine as well as cosmetic dermatology and acupuncture. I work alongside with the office RN in managing the Medicare Annual Wellness Visits. I am in charge of making sure that she meets with the proper patients each day. I also assist in the documentation of Chronic Care Managements. I formulate the care plans for all of the chronic care managements that are completed each month. I also assist the other medical assistants in getting the patients ready to meet with the provider. This includes but is not limited to, taking vital signs, assessing what has brought the patient to the office, performing EKGs, and calling patients with test results.
