  Technologies SEPIA was bought out by SEPIA Scientific Systems in 2001, but both companies were research and geomatics oriented. Besides various consulting jobs, they developed an early recommender system for video stores that had little success, and later worked primarily on geomatics image processing projects.

  A start-up to build recommender systems that never really took off. It was too early for the market, but we did have a nice api-driven (REST-like) that performed nicely for that time.

  Intello Technologies was created to develop and bring to market systems designed to manage internet access in hotels and other similar establishments. I am proud to have managed the development of the original system, which was installed in around 800 hotels.

  We have now added a new member to the infrastructure team at Simply Voting, so I have been promoted to Lead. The task is still the same, improving Simply Voting's infrastructure by modernising it and moving more into a devOps and gitOps structure. As the company provides election-related services, security, robustness, and stability are paramount.
