  As a member of the Executive forum, I reported directly to the CEO. Managing four core departments (Information Services, Networking, Technical Support and Wagering). The I.T. services extended Nationally and Internationally as we provided data services to Hong Kong, USA, Australia, Sweden, Singapore as well as the U.K. Core services were for the National Horseracing Industry (Gold Circle, Phumelela and the National Horseracing Authority). I chaired the Gold Circle Technology Forum, occasionally chairing the Wagering Traffic Forum (Commercial) in the CEO’s absence and attended a Joint Technology Forum between Gold Circle and Phumelela. Other Forum’s attended: Gold Circle Executive meetings and the Commercial Board of Management. Main Job Functions was to Plan, organize and control all aspects of the Information Technology Division including the corporate strategy and policy formulation.   As a Consultant I often worked in conjunction with other companies like Cloud 9 Services to enhance their technical core team. Participating in EA implementations, POC’s & RPF’s and Pre-sales. I was involved in a POC with the Law Society, via Datacentrix. Partnering with Timetunnel Consulting as a Value-added consultant, I was involved with POC’s with EOH, Proclarity Consulting and BCX. On smaller pro-jects I fulfilled a dual role as Project Manager and Architect. My role was strategic with the installation (POC) of Nimsoft monitoring software for Dube Trade Port (iConnect). Designed and developed a virtual Gaming system (Wagerport). For the Mauritius Turf Club, I designed and developed a web-based Owners and Trainers Billing System, hosted locally. Show less
