      I worked and wrote my thesis at the laboratory of prof. Karen Steel at King's college London. This Erasmus internship provided me a lot of knowledge in the genetic causes of deafness and gave me great insight on how to conduct scientific research. I worked in a dynamic, enthusiastic team where my main tasks were genotyping of mice, dissecting their cochlea and prepare them for taking pictures with the scanning electron microscope.
