Indicators include nonconformance and corrective actions; process, supplier, and configuration management escapes; scrap cost information, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) etc. used to drive change and improvement. • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for 3 levels of management on metric dashboards. These dashboards support 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives and follow the “safety, quality, schedule, and cost” approach to business. • Manage the annual KPI goals at Propulsion Systems as well as Program level. Goals include Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), Errors per 2000 labor hours, First Pass Yield, Continuous Improvements, etc.. Accomplishments Learned and applied tools used in Lean Manufacturing to improve and automate business applications used for nonconformance reporting.
