  I have over 24 years experience in working in warehousing & logistics. As Warehouse & Logistics manager my role is to organize the storage and distribution of goods, using our IT and telecommunications systems. I plan and manage the movement of goods in a supply chain, liaising with many parties including suppliers of raw materials, retailers and consumers. My role involves the design, development, implementation and management of logistics solutions for our clients and their customers.My role also involves transportation, stock control, warehousing and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials. IT plays a key part within the logistics field in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation. Show less
