I was the lead salesperson for a seasonal mall kiosk. My responsibilities included promoting product to people passing by, creating a weekly work schedule for my employees, managing the inventory to make sure the product was always full and presentable. Motivating the other salespeople to meet sales quotas. Handling the cash drop and deposits in the afternoon or evening. Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.

      Jan 2013 - Jun 2014
      Customer Account Representative

As a Customer Account Representative my job was to manage accounts by assisting customers to make on time payments by setting up a schedule which best fit their budget. This was accomplished from the initial sale as I would help them choose merchandise they needed but also best fit their budget. After closing with them and reviewing all terms and conditions of the rental agreement I would often perform the delivery and setup of the merchandise in their home. One of the most important aspects of the position was to create and maintain a healthy business relationship with my customers. Once the account and initial payment were in place I would then assist in continuing on time payments through reminder and collection calls if the accounts became past due. The primary objective in this was to establish communication and set them back on the right track with their payments. In some cases, communication would not be made and field visits were conducted to the residences to either make contact or retrieve merchandise depending on the situation and payment history. Other aspects of the position included the refurbishment of previously rented merchandise to like new condition, loading and unloading of merchandise from the delivery vehicles, and setting up a weekly service order for merchandise that was not functioning correctly to be shipped to the service facility for repair. I currently operate solids control equipment on Marcellus and Utica Shale oil/natural gas drilling locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. My duty is to improve and maintain the efficiency of rig and drilling mud through the mechanical removal of low gravity solids as well as recover drilling fluid from the cuttings as they return to surface to reduce disposal and mud costs. During dewatering operations I clean water through mechanical separation with the aid of chemical agents. I perform maintenance on machines such as centrifuges, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, cutting sizers, etc., and make adjustments to equipment settings that will best adapt to the speed and type of drilling. In addition, I also operate an excavator to load drilling waste into containers for transport to the landfill. It is imperative that I adhere by all company and industry HSE standards such as wearing proper PPE at all times, doing daily walk around inspections and correcting any potential hazards, filling out the proper Pre Job Risk Assessment (PJRA) and Hazard Identification (HazID) forms for each task, and producing proper Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) forms and procedures before working on equipment. I also drive a company vehicle to and from the well site safely by using the proper Smith Driving guidelines. Show less
