      Head Bindery Technician

I started as an apprentice in this small family run business after leaving school and attended Matthew Boulton College in Birmingham where I learnt professional book binding skills. Reporting to the Managing Director I was responsible for the bindery department. I prioritised work loads to ensure every job would make their delivery target. I set up and run and maintained heavy machinery for folding, stitching, perforating, numbering and cutting of paper to be made into brochures, letterheads and invoice books. Show less

I also trained others to set standard whilst calling out normal duties. I also had experience within the Body In White area where I spot welded the parts to the body sides to create the basic framework of the vehicle.
