Substantial experience performing due diligence consulting and independent validation and verification of large-scale IT projects. Led PWC’s IT Management Practice in Denmark, working with public agencies and private companies on the development of digital transformation programs, optimizing IT Service Management, and CIO Advisory management. Responsible for designing, planning and performing several very large scale (VLS) technology projects and digital transformation programs for public and private organizations, including procurement and selection, vendor management, technology assessment and selection, vendor negotiations, risk assessment and management, feasibility analysis, enterprise architecture, and IV&V.       Hired from Gartner to start up a new management consulting firm under the Maersk brand, Maersk MPROVE, specializing in digital reinvention and organizational IT management for the Maersk Group and for international transportation companies. Responsible for developing white space accounts and projects under the Maersk Group, its overseas business units, and for its business partners. Sold and led innovation projects for APM Terminals (global technology strategy, and global ERP implementation), Maersk Logistics (global technology strategy), Maersk Line (business strategy and the $500M divestiture project of the Maersk Data Group to IBM). Led the M&A planning of Maersk Line’s acquisition of UK-shipper P&O Nedlloyd, resulting in the world’s largest container shipping line. Led the Maersk Data Group’s enterprise architecture project – comprising shared services across 20 operating units with 3,500 employees. Led the Maersk Group’s NXT Project, an advanced scenario planning exercise to study outcomes from a divestiture of the Maersk Data Group from the Maersk Group, leading to the $500M acquisition of the Maersk Data Group by IBM in 2005.
