  As an ICT Architect, Common ICT, I am responsible for ICT demand management for shared ICT assets. Common ICT form the foundation of Neste Corporation’s ICT services, e.g. networks, database platforms, servers, laptops, phones, ICT’s internal toolset and working methods. That means in practise designing, documenting, prioritizing the development needs, and formulating the business cases of the projects. I lead (facilitate) a virtual team which consists of several Neste ICT people from different expertise area: Enterprise Architecture, ICT Development, ICT Operations, and Head of Business ICT - including several vendors. My work focuses in projects’ early phases where project planning and solution to-be state planning is being made. My speciality is Google G Suite administration, a heritage from "Neste going Google" -project (see my previous position). Show less The role was all about defining business cases of development projects, crystallising business requirements, and designing ICT solutions according to these. The most important and demanding project during the period was "Neste going Google" where the whole company's current email and calendar system (MS Exchange) migrated to Google Gmail and Google Calendar. On top of that we implemented also initial skills and mindset for Neste employees to begin using G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Work), and supported organizations in many ways to start using the new toolset. My responsibilities covered also replacement of legacy meeting room reservation system with Google Resource Calendars where I guided the implementation done by vendor, including hands-on work with Resource Calendars in Google Admin console, and initial rollout of Chromebox for Meetings devices.Other projects were mainly related to web based solutions in both corporate and business area level. In Neste’s corporate web site renewal project i worked as a full time project team member, my responsibilities were e.g. participating in the program’s RFI and RFP phases, consulting in the selection of the implementation vendor; designing the distribution of Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Product Data Sheets from legacy/source solutions to the new web site; and coordinating the multiple DNS-record changes during the rollout phase. Show less Working in Oil Retail business unit’s (Neste Marketing Ltd) web team whose responsibilities were to maintain and develop Oil Retail’s main business web solutions and other digital channels. Oil Retail operates the whole Neste station chain including service stations, unmanned stations and heavy traffic stations in Finland, Russia and the Baltic states. The team worked closely with different business development teams, corporate ICT, and corporate marketing and communications teams. Solutions involved with the team were extranets, internet sites, and integrations in between the legacy backend systems and the web layer. Projects included eg. the renewal of the corporate web user access management system (wuam) with Ubisecure’s system, a project where our team worked as a main resource for the whole renewal project, including both testing and rollout phases together with a full time project manager. The main project during the period was the implementation of new process model for Oil Retail with given ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX). The program was highly complex and very demanding. Web channels were tightly involved during almost the whole program because of the large amount of integrations made to legacy backend systems from web solutions. Project consisted of defining the new integration layer with vendors, coordinating of the vendor work, numerous testing cycles in all layers - integrations, web solutions, and ERP system (end-to-end testing).
