  I had the opportunity to be part of Quality Assurance team at Hykon India Ltd ,Vellikulangara.Firstly we were assigned the duty to create a Bill of Manufacture ( BOM ) for electrical components used in the electrical rickshaw “Hetto”. This included the visual checks, specifications, physical checks, color code and electrical circuit check for any faults or mismatches in the component. Then we had to create the Micro Control Flow of all processes in the electrical assembly in which we had to check for parameters and assign the methods and personnel for checking the parameters. We also had the opportunity to conduct tests on the electrical assembly of the vehicle which helped us in understanding the need for testing and tolerance ranges for a products perfect working. The battery assembly section where we learnt how the assembly was done and how the labelling is done was new for me. Show less
