  I teach law in the political science department at Northern Michigan University, including judicial process, contract law, legal research and writing, and introduction to paralegal studies. My classes strive to teach students how to interpret, negotiate and draft contracts, the basics of the U.S. and state legal structures, how to identify, find and analyze relevant legal authority and resources, and effective legal writing.
