  In my mandate as the Head of Design Studies at the University of Warwick, I oversee the curriculum development, coordination, recruitment, and strategic direction of our BASc and MASc as well as the upcoming PhD design programs. I ensure these programs follow regenerative trajectories, remaining responsive to industry shifts and global sustainability implementation. My role involves line-management and staff and supervising and mentoring of students, fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment. I actively develop partnerships with industry leaders to enhance practice-led learning experiences, ensuring our students gain real-world insights and opportunities. Additionally, I manage research initiatives, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration to advance the field of Design and Global Sustainable Development. I work closely with faculty to maintain academic excellence, overseeing assessment and quality assurance processes. Through leadership and strategic planning, I help shape the future of design education at Warwick, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Show less As the director of the the division, I lead on the overall curricular, strategic and operational processes involving our undergraduate and postgraduate courses.The division is a cross-faculty hub for design studies, practice-led research and scholarship and as such supports design endeavours across the university. My role is to direct and facilitate all dealings of the division, from pedagogy to staffing. A specific character of the division is its currency in pop up and kinship pedagogy which is supported through our mobile design studios which were designed, facilitated and organised under my directorship.
