      - Managing Field Marketing team of 13 reps for the new National Lottery Provider, Ithuba for the Western Cape.- Responsible for the identification and signing up of potential Retailers to be retailers for the New National Lottery Provider, Ithuba (including conversion of existing retailers for previous operator, Gidani).- Ensuring that all retailer applications are compliant with the requirements of the National Lottery Board.- Ensuring that Lottery Terminals are installed in approved Retailers and that the appropriate Training and Knowledge Transfer is completed in the store as soon as installation is completed.- Ensuring that Retailers are adequately stocked with sufficient quantities of consumables, necessary for them to trade.- Increasing the performance of Retailers through ongoing Training, Merchandising, Trouble Shooting etc.- Ensuring that reps attend to all Escalations received via the Call Centre, and directing rep activity to optimise their activity in the trade.- Ensure that all staff that interact on the Lottery terminals receive the required training.- Identify strategic opportunities and drive sales to meet and exceed sales targets within all retail channels.- Cultivate positive business relationships with outlets and their staff (both self and reps) for the purpose of training, branding, market research and communication- Build relationships with designated business partners and retailers.- Continually build relationships and negotiate to win the confidence and commitment of Retailers to increase Lotto sales- Implement specified administration and control systems in own area of responsibility - Complete administration accurately, efficiently and within deadlines- Control expenses (i.e. petrol, cellular phone, accommodation) - for self and reps - and ensure that correct documentation is in place- Recruit employees; assign and direct work, oversee their development, identify training needs and maintain staff competence Show less
