      I work in tandem with an fellowship-trained Hand and Mircovascular Surgeon, assisting in surgical procedures, clinical duties and call services pertaining to the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. I have assisted in delicate microscope-assisted nerve and arterial repairs of the hand all the way up to total shoulder replacement; clinic duties include seeing new and established patients, interpreting diagnostic films, CTs and MRIs, diagnosing upper extremity pathologies and developing treatment plans; and call services consist of ER procedures including closed reduction of fractures and dislocations as well as wound suturing and seeing on-floor consults for general orthopedic pathologies.
