  I designed and delivered accurate mechanical cost estimates from project conceptual phase through bid/construction. I produced detailed, complete project budgets for prospective projects GMPs and bid, compiled and analyzed data on equipment, labor, subcontractor and related factors and conditions. • This was a newly created position that relieved engineers and project managers of responsibility for estimating by consolidating the function in one role, and resulted in management having greater confidence in budget accuracy. • I developed and refined cost estimating tools to achieve more complete and timely budgets. • Bidders were encouraged to participate in the initial bidding process due to elimination of breakdown requirements in the initial bid process, with details required only for finalist, resulting in more accuracy in bid evaluations.• My recommendation of new estimating software (On Center) and implementation increased the accuracy of takeoffs and provided takeoff documentation.• Development and proper maintenance of a historical database enhanced estimates of future project costs.
