      The FIFA Women’s World Cup is the biggest women’s sporting event on the planet. The World Cup will attract the best female players and a global audience of 2 billionI project managed the upgrades and preparation of 28 training sites in New Zealand. The programme included renovation and preparation of pitches, installation of floodlighting, gender neutral upgrades to dressing room facilities and general facility improvements to meet FIFA requirements. I was also responsible for the $2m procurement of training equipment for both Australia and New Zealand. Working with various stakeholders including FIFA Zurich, Central government, local government, NZ Football, facility owners, local clubs, and various functional areas of FIFA to deliver on FIFA’s exacting standards.
