  • Experience

    • Louisiana Transportation Research Center

      Aug 2021 - Aug 2023
      Software Engineer - Research Associate

Worked on implementing technical research findings into usable and shareable .NET software. I worked on several small and large projects collaborating with GeoTech Engineers for LADoTD and Researchers and professors from the Civil Engineering Departments at LSU and UL Lafayette.

    • University of Louisiana at Lafayette

      Aug 2021 - Jul 2023
      Graduate Research Assistant

Worked on several Machine Learning and robotics projects while completing my MS Thesis and coursework.

    • Informatics Research Institute at UL Lafayette

      Sept 2023 - Aug 2024
      Research Associate

Worked on various projects related to Machine Learning and Computer Vision. I worked primarily on computer vision research and the implementation of modern CV algorithms on resource-constrained devices. I worked on using the physics model to minimize the use of the CV algorithm subsequently reducing the resource consumption of the model running on smaller devices like Rasp pi, and Nvidia Jetson. I learned a lot about algorithmic optimization and its use in ML for smaller devices.
