  Customer Service Assistant

  Over nearly 3 years I have gained many skills working at the Co-op in Ripley. I now feel like I can comfortably talk to customers without being nervous. I work well with my colleagues, customers and work provided. I mainly worked on the tills in both the Kiosk and Shop tills. I have also trained some of my colleagues in the kiosk and provided help when needed. Working in a shop there were some customers who were challenging but I would cooperate and call for help when needed.

  Entertainer

  Over the Summer I worked as a show entertainer and I loved it. I met totally new people and worked well with them to achieve goals for Thomas Cook and the Playaolid Hotel. I hosted the activities by the pool such as water polo in the daytime. In the night I performed in shows, sang cabarets and hosted the kids mini disco. I gained lots of people skills and confidence while doing this job over the summer holidays.

  Rental Sales Agent

  Working in Palma de Mallorca airport for my placement year. My role was serve customers as a rental sales agent and make contracts. I also performed the role of fleet disposal, this means I had to keep control of the fleet and make sure we had the correct cars for customers arriving, with two other colleagues.

  Customer Service Assistant

  I have returned to the Co-op I was previously working at. After my placement year had been cut short due to the outbreak of COVID-19, I decided I wanted to return to the shop despite the situation. I already had the experience so it was a case of refreshing my skills. I am proud to say I have been a key worker throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
