    • -- Various Jobs --

      Jan 2006 - Jan 2015
General Labourer, Customer Service Attendant, Sales Representative

I have worked a wide range of jobs in various sectors of the work force. I was a general labourer for JPG roofing, Siderman, HyGrade Concrete and many temporary agencies (Greenhouses, Residential Restoration, Private Contracts, Heavy lifting positions). I've worked in grill maintenance at McDonald's and Wendy's. I have worked the cash register at Tim Horton's and Gales Gas Bar. I have also worked at One Touch Direct and Dixon Commercial call center.

    • Ferguson and Neudorf Windows

      Nov 2011 - Jun 2012
      Production Line Worker

Ferguson and Neudorf build industrial window frame's, and install commercial glass once completed. They are known for their international projects with several different locations in the Niagara Region. Ferguson and Neudorf also have many on-site workers who are well equipped to solve any problem a job site may encounter. Here, I was to assemble the window frame structure to be sent down for glass installation. The frame consisted of 4-8 steel beams, insulation, and shadowbox. I was clean and prime all joints, electric drill hundreds of bolts, cock the entire thing including edges and screws, cut and input insulation, and lift heavy workloads daily. Here, I excelled - hiring two friends; prepping and training them myself. Show less

    • Paladin Security

      Oct 2012 - Jun 2013
      Patient Watch

Although patient watch security is not a licensed security guard position, the job was relatively similar. I would spend 12 hours a shift watching a patient, ensuring their safety. This would include patients with mental health issues in the mental health unit, older people with Dementia/Alzheimer's, and kids who were on suicidal watch. Here I was able to improve my communication and problem solving skills, as I was unable to touch a patient and had to verbally diffuse the situation. I was also the first responder who was to relay any serious issues to the security office, alerting them of the issue. Show less

SAC aspires to provide healthy and safe activities, facilities, and services while promoting an accessible college environment and contributing to the quality of student life at Niagara College. In the winter of 2014, I was elected by the student body to be the Director of Campaigns for the 2014-2015 academic year at the Welland Campus of Niagara College. My main duty throughout the year was to brainstorm and organize innovative fundraisers in order to raise funds for our Student Emergency Food Bank. I also brought relevant social campaigns and other worthy causes to the students attention. In this role, I attended monthly board meetings and executive meetings once every three weeks. Show less
