  As an intern at WTEN, not only did I shadow the reporters, I learned how to properly write scripts and format a newscast. I also learned how to edit using premiere and produce using ENPS. With the reporters, I was able to see every step that goes into getting a story and bringing it to life. I got experience with editing packages and even made it on-air a few times. I was able to work in a face paced and deadline driven environment. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with WTEN and all of the people I met at the station. I absorbed a lot of information from being around those who know excel in their field. After this internship, I look forward to my future career as a reporter/ T.V. personality. Show less

  I assisted Fallon staffers with the everyday operations of the show. This includes standing in during the show rehearsal, assisting with monologue rehearsal, working on research projects for various departments, answering phones, and going on errands throughout the city to pick-up props, costumes, and miscellaneous items for the production of the show. A production intern is very active and spends much of the day on his/her feet. During any downtime, general production interns work on updating information on our shows in a database, finding news headlines for the monologue writers, and help search for human-interest videos online.
