  In addition to my role as a Co-Investigator as a Nurse Practitioner, I now also support our facility to meet its mission and vision within the Clinical Research industry by maintaining implementation of all clinic-related policies and procedures through the following: assisting with the planning and implementation of clinical trials, including implementing initiatives and project management that contribute to clinical trial recruitment and enrollment; development and implementation of work flow processes for significantly increased clinical activity and patient flow; training new clinic staff on SOPs, clinical trial research related nuances and regulatory requirements; communicating assignments, customer service, and clinical education topics to staff; tracking of pre-screening and screening metrics; ordering and maintaining supplies for proper clinic function; providing leadership and performance management for clinical team members; educating patients and the community on disease prevention and the benefits of clinical trials and participating in community outreach while also supporting the expansion of the institute's activities into surrounding areas. Show less In this role, I support all human subject clinical trials as a Co-Investigator. This support entails provision of expert nursing consultation and trial oversight, execution of all clinically-relevant clinical trial activities, and procedures with patient safety at the forefront. I facilitate fluid communication with external clinical trial sponsors and contract research organization representatives, as well as working closely with clinical research study coordinators and all clinical research staff to help expedite successful completion of all clinical trials.
