      Managed multiple concurrent and yearly research projects implementing the GRYD Comprehensive Strategy. Major research focus on Intervention Family Case Management services based on a Family Systems model of therapy and Violence Interruption Crisis Response services. Managed and developed two databases to track clients, services and response to gang violence incidents. Provided regular reports on the status of database population, compliance, training for 12 GRYD agencies, Community Intervention Workers and Case Managers in the implementation of data collection and database use. Familiar with Access database development and worked with technical specialists to increase the effectiveness of data collection and troubleshoot to improve data quality. Other yearly projects include Young Women from Adversity to Resiliency (YWAR) program data collection, analysis, reporting and occasional facilitation of classes for young women in continuation schools on the topics of healthy relationships, identity, and mind-body wellness. Participated and provided research and evaluation reports on annual Gun Buy Back program. Additionally, continued to supervise the annual Summer Night Lights evaluation. Responsible for the hiring and training of a team of 18 interns and interviewers and 32 youth at 32 sites throughout the City of Los Angeles. Managed the collection of more than 4,000 community and staff surveys used as programmatic and community needs assessments. Reporting and presentation to GRYD Staff, GRYD Cabinet, Intervention Agencies and others as needed. Other projects include: research on AB 109 realignment initiatives and impact to the city of Los Angeles, provided feedback in the development of Social Embededness Scale tool to measure level of involvement and entrenchment in gang activities, Triangle Survey implementation measuring relationship between GRYD Staff, LAPD, and Intervention Workers.
