My time here gave me a holistic perspective of business, improved my ability to perform and coordinate several tasks simultaneously under pressure and strengthened my problem-solving abilities.

  Länsförsäkringar offers complete solutions in banking, insurance, pension, and real estate, and has for several years in a row had Sweden's most satisfied customers in e.g. bank and insurance according to SKI. In this part-time job, I was responsible for the office's spontaneous meeting with the customer regarding matters of banking and insurance. In this fast-paced environment I had good use of my communicative and relationship-building skills and increased my problem-solving capabilities by becoming better at prioritizing and structuring. At Länsförsäkringar, I also learned about the importance of always providing excellent service to the customer, as well as improved my skills in communication and cooperation. I and two colleagues were responsible for Akavia’s student operations in Umeå, where we primarily worked with recruitment of new student members and marketing on campus. With my fast learning curve and strong drive, as well as my ability to help my team by handling stressful and difficult situations with a calm, systematic and solutions-based approach, our team succeeded in recruiting over 350 members during this academic year and beat the previous 15-year record by 17.2%.
