    • Diagnostic BioSystems

      Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
      Intern

Headed project investigating the preservation of biological reagents in the Immunohistochemical startup setting with an emphasis on quality improvement and cost reduction. Assisted with digitizing inventory and streamlining manufacturing processes.

    • Stanford University School of Medicine

      Jun 2017 - Aug 2017
      Design Fellowship Intern

@Clinical Excellence Research Center (CERC), Stanford Department of MedicineAssisted a team under Dr. Arnold Milstein, of six PhDs/MDs/PsyDs recruited to create new care models for Late Life Care patients that would decrease costs without sacrificing care quality and patient experience. Developed a program that conducted systematic literature reviews and used data science to augment the systematic literature review and offer quantitative insight into quality-based care methods to lower cost and increase care quality + patient experience. • UC Berkeley School of Public Health

      Sept 2017 - Sept 2018
      Undergraduate Researcher

@ Health Research for Action, UC Berkeley School of Public HealthStudies qualitative methods to assess barriers and facilitators of colorectal cancer screening in the South Asian population. Led design of surveys using proper methodologies and spearheaded the use of statistics and categorical regression methods to predict demographics to target for community outreach.

    • Data Science Society at Berkeley

      Sept 2017 - May 2020
      Analyst

As a member of the analytics committee of Data Science Society (DSS) @ Berkeley I worked with high growth startups and established organizations to understand their pain points and worked with their data lakes to explain the current situation using data and propose data-driven solutions.

    • Stanford University School of Medicine

      Jun 2018 - Aug 2018
      Undergraduate Student Researcher

@Steinmetz Lab, Genome Technology CenterExplored immunological profile for chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Learned and performed end-to-end scRNAseq pipelines including alignment, quality control, clustering, and gene expression analysis. Subsequently led a mentored investigation into exploring the epitope-space of CFS and developing a TCR -> antigen mapping schema using the GLIPH algorithm.

    • NextGen Consulting at Berkeley

      Sept 2018 - May 2020
      Vice President Of Development

Developed professional development curriculum that taught statistics and data science for consultants and led bootcamps and career workshops for the organization. Previous roles include Project manager, Senior Analyst, and Analyst.

    • Stanford Genome Technology Center

      Jun 2019 - May 2020
      Undergraduate Research Assistant

@Ron Davis/Lars Steinmetz Labs, Genome Technology CenterContinuation of earlier work on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) as part of the immune arm of a multi-disciplinary team of experts across disciplines. Worked on multi-modal integration of single-cell transcriptomic data and proteomic data using a data driven approach of identifying high confidence differential population and marker expression.

    • University of California, San Francisco

      Jun 2019 - Jun 2021

@Vasquez-Hunt Lab, Division of Experimental Medicine, a cross-institutional collaboration between Zuckerberg San Francisco General, SF Department of Public Health, and UCSF School of Medicine. Led bioinformatic analyses on multimodal data (scRNAseq, CyTOF, Image Analysis, TCR/CITE-seq) spanning multiple disease contexts (COVID-19, Tuberculosis, and COPD) with a focus on characterizing and quantifying host-pathogen interactions and immune dysregulation. @ Scharschmidt Lab, UCSF Department of Dermatology. Studied the molecular underpinnings of self versus non-self discrimination (in mice and human) by analyzing the immunotolerant phenotype that arises in the fetal/neonatal developmental window. Led analysis of CyTOF data gathered from skin resident lymphocytes. Gained BSL-2 level wet lab experience by conducting end-to-end experiments and generating the data for said experiments using Flow Cytometry.
