  During my time working as a sports coach I completed my level 1 football coaching award, I helped run the Saturday morning games with under 6’s. I also led sessions over half terms and summer camps for football, dance and multi sports. Over my 4 years of working as a sports coach I built my confidence of working with both the younger and older generation, improving my leadership skills and planning. For these camps I had to complete regular risk assessments for the sessions to keep both staff and children safe. Show less

  Volunteer

  As someone who has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, I decided to work as a volunteer by joining the Crohn's and Colitis Charity and helping raise money by participating in different events. I also joined a facebook group that allowed newly diagnosed patients to ask questions about their new diagnosis and help them through the process, we answered questions about surgery/medication etc. The time spent volunteering was very rewarding and makes such a difference.

  Event Coordinator

  In this job role I helped co ordinate different events such as the colour run and the Liverpool rock and roll marathon. These events were high pressure and I had to be on the ball as an employee anticipating the next job. The events were always enjoyable and the main benefit was getting to interact with the participants and building a rapport with them.
