I worked with cross-functional teams to ensure that we deliver innovative digital engagement solutions, ensuring that we remain relevant across all digital channels. These channels include Facebook, Google Search, Google Display, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn among others. • Measurement of Digital ROI - I ensured that we had a high return on investment for all our digital marketing efforts, ensuring that we grew brand equity and business revenue. This is delivered at the lowest cost, ensuring that we deliver maximum savings to the business.• Leading an omnichannel approach that continued to grow the digital ecosystem internally and proposing additional engagement channels to suit the needs of the attention economy. This included the use of chatbots, Twitter Spaces, creating ephemeral content and utilization of first party data for targeting purposes. • I created value in digital marketing that grew the overall marketing spend from 12% to 38% in four years, which has contributed to over 5.3 million app downloads for Mpesa App, over 20K customers for Safaricom Fixed business, over 100,000 customers for Business Transacting till among others that have generated over 200M in revenue for the business.• I championed the insourcing of Digital Media for Safaricom which included writing a business case, hiring and managing and a team of qualified media buyers.
