      This role included planning, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of restoration management activities in line with allocated budgets for several ecologically high value sites (termed Key Native Ecosystem sites) located across the Greater Wellington region. I was personally responsible for 12 Key Native Ecosystem sites comprising wetland, forest, coastal and riverine ecosystems totalling approximately 886 hectares.Large components of this role also included providing technical and biodiversity management advice to a range of internal and external parties as well as developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and interested parties including; iwi, landowners, territorial authorities, internal departments, consultants and various other agencies.
