  I worked for DHL on the Howden’s Joinery contract and was one of a handful of drivers that covered the Scotland runs and, stayed up there all week. These runs stretched between Howden in Yorkshire, and any location in Scotland. While on this work I also trained drivers for holiday relief as were loaded chip board from Scotland back to our Yorkshire depot and due to the unstablenature of the board drivers had to be trained before they were allowed to carry it unsupervised. Once DHL took over the contract general haulage became part of our work throughout the UK. Show less
