In conjunction with Dr. Laura A. Taylor, Assistant Professor of Educational Studies at Rhodes College, I assisted in conducting a case study of six public school veteran teachers’ engagement of sociopolitical issues with mentee pre-service teachers to make sense of how sociopolitical knowledge is transferred from veteran teacher to mentee. Responsible for taking field notes & recordings (audio and visual) of six focus group meetings over one year.
