I was lucky to have a variety of articles published, for both The Standard and The Warrnambool Extra. My duties included interviewing via phone and in person, writing news stories, accompanying photographers, taking notes, creating angles for stories and networking within the industry and the public. My duties included coffee runs, distribute mail, image research, photocopying, printing, shopping runs, collect items for fashion department from CBD, office organisation, collecting models from reception, recreated stockist list, researching and assisting in the fashion cupboard.

      In October 2014 I interned at Channel 10 for one week. My main duty was to observe the journalists in action. I was also given the opportunity to assist with interviewing, take notes and assist with camera equipment. This gave me great insight into television reporting and fuelled my journalism knowledge further.

      May and Romeo Schiavon Scholarship Grant - Nov 2013 The May and Romeo Schiavon Endowment, managed by the ANZ Trustees, offers grants to support students in journalism to undertake an internship at a rural and regional newspaper in Victoria. The aim of these grants is to attract graduates to the regional news environment and strengthen regional media outlets. The one-off grants of $3000 are to be used to assist with travel, accommodation and food costs.
