  I led a DOE-funded project pursuing the use of filamentous algae as a supplement in animal feed. After recruiting, organizing, and training a team of researchers, I directed their daily lab operations and presided over an outdoor pilot-scale algae cultivation system. Weekly meetings with program supervisors and lab staff ensured the project was meeting its goals.   As a lab intern, I assisted winery lab staff in the daily operations of a large-scale wine-making operation. This involved the collection, organization, and analysis of quality assurance and viticulture maturity data. During the 2017 harvest season, I worked independently to monitor incoming grapes and juice during the fermentation process.
