The application comprises of composite report with graph interfacing. I am responsible for migrating existing app from version 4 to 5. Handled cross platform (16 to 32 bit) issues for all API calls. Created a generic model to record “any” kind of survey data, prepared complex reports replacing existing composite presentation styles. Reverse engineered the database using ERWIN/ERX case.   Ezplugin - A web plugin like eCandidate, to recruiting client-server application EZAccess. It’s a customizable ASP/Oracle8i based portal which web enables any existing EZAccess customer through company’s web site. The app is supported with customizable stylesheets, designed to seamlessly integrate with customer’s existing web site’s looks and feel, enabling any candidate to search for jobs, apply, create profile and submit resume. I am responsible to add configuration driven customizability for this seamless integration and add easy customer experience. eCandidate - eCandidate, a web application written in Java/Netdynamics 4.03 for candidate recruiting, which allows a candidate to search for jobs, create profile and apply for jobs. The skills of candidates are tokenized and indexed to provide a dynamic and automatic match for suitable jobs. This matching process is assisted by a third party search tool verity, which parses resumes, index them and along with other criteria like geographical vicinity, against job requisitions. HRAccess - A complete corporate recruiting solution, HRAccess, accompanied with a very powerful resume search engine, Verity (a third party product). A customizable tab based, front-end, which uses many C++ interfaces. Worked on major enhancements also migrated through 3 versions of Powerbuilder. Show less

  Profiler_NA to PPRO Data Exchange API - HP’s latest customer profile CRM solution from siebel, PartnerPRO (PPRO), replacing the oracle based profiling system known as profiler which uses heavy PL-SQL API layer (SIF) for data exchange across other systems. Modified siebel’s standard outbound processes to feed profile information using SIF APIs through batch processes. Designed/implemented logic to perform migration from profiler to siebel’s API. Data stabilization of new data exchange interface, to resolve massive data sync/integrity conflicts and maintain data quality across the systems. Redesigned profiler, a ColdFusion frontend along with PISA (new inbound system for partners information validation), for enhancements and fixes. Galaxy-Profiler - HP’s B2B contract management system, Galaxy, written in Powerbuilder 6.5 and Oracle9i using a middle tier Pro-C layer, used to perform database manipulation as an application server. Profiler is a customer profiling system on oracle which is accompanied by a powerful Cold fusion front-end. I am responsible to rewrite of galaxy client application to remove the middle pro-c layer. Rewrite the galaxy and profiler database sync logic to remove redundant information from both sides as its 2-way interface. Assist HP and Compaq’s merge by combining compaq’s customers profiles into HPs business. Show less

  Cisco’s Post Receipt Entitlement (PRE) is an Entitlement validity system which matches the warranty on a returned product based on warranty information like location, serial number or category etc. I am responsible to design a warranty match logic system to catch all possible scenarios by digging billions of records from OFS’s order management system, install base, contracts or inventory for serial numbers to find the entitlement validity using a complicated algorithm, designed to save millions of dollars each year wasted in providing returns and services for non-entitled products. Manage huge volume of thousands of engine parameters like temperature, pressure per flight, to analyze engine performance for most accurate prediction of due maintenance to avoid unexpected failure risks. Design the storage strategies for faster analysis and configuration management for single fetch multiple analysis. Pivoting/De-normalizing data for faster user analytics also data munging using python with numpy and pandas.Oil and Gas Digital Framework - Plan the strategy to read turbines sensors data for various meters like temperature, pressure, oil flow etc, using systems like SmartSignal, SystemOne, written in DotNet, pushed into RabbitMQ (a messaging queue), transformed using Talend ETL tool and stored into Proficy Historian (a GE tool to store huge volume of timeseries data) using REST APIs. Talend MDM created metadata for meters and sensors stored in mysql for Predix cloud foundry’s assets hierarchy used for analytics on tags timeseries data and alarms/events. Show less
