  National Programs were established as part of the mission of Health Outreach in order to promote the standardization of certain tertiary care problems. Each national program looks into a current problem related to either the diagnosis or treatment of a given medical condition and tries to identify strategies to solve it. The Patients Acceptance Department Management handles all cases throughout all other concerned Medical Departments and vice versa. After receiving and medical revised, the case might be accepted or rejected for medical treatment in KFSH&RC along with recommendation for possible treatment in other medical centers. We successfully managed to link all MOH hospitals with the KFSHRC patients electronic referral system. Also we managed to link the 18 MOH general medical committees (GMCs) with the referral system.
