  As a System Integration Engineer at subcontractor of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) which was the main contractor of ERTMS Level 1 High-Speed Train Line Phase 2 Project between Ankara and Istanbul, my duties/tasks are listed below:- Collecting and submitting data of the construction works to Employer and its representative.- Getting the necessary work permits from traffic controllers and creating work orders.- Preparation of Quality Documents like Inspection Points Program, Data Register Sheets for indoor and outdoor installations.- Preparation and submitting of progress payment certifications between main contractor (CRCC), subcontractor (Alcatel-Lucent Teletas) and the Employer (TCDD).- Request for inspections if necessary and follow up the inspections with Employer and its representative.- Checking progress payment certifications submitted by Alcatel-Lucent Teletas’ subcontractors are compatible with the work done on the site.- Assuring that the quality is above the standards and workers obey the health and safety rules during the installations. Creating the necessary material purchase requests, making official correspondence, conducting technical interviews with candidates etc.- Providing technical trainings to staff about Signalling Systems, Telecommunication Systems, CTC Control Center Systems and Sub-Systems' maintenance works,- Preparation and submitting of official technical specifications documents between main contractor (TCDD Technical), and the Employer (TCDD).- Ensuring the coordination of the teams.- Collecting and submitting data of the maintenance works to Employer.- Preparation and submitting of progress payment certifications to Employer (TCDD).- Checking progress payment certifications submitted by TCDD Technical’s subcontractors are compatible with the work done on the site.Project: The Preparation of Railway Signalling Action Plan-Process Follow-up Leader- A holistic and inclusive signalling action plan is preparing for TCDD railway network signalling systems for purposes such as improving operational safety on TCDD railway lines, reducing travel times, increasing traffic safety, using existing line capacities effectively and efficiently, increasing mobility and using local resources and opportunities in signalling more effectively.- In this context, Railway Signalling Action Plan, which takes into account the new developments in the country and in the world, will be prepared with the participation of wide stakeholders in order to be a roadmap for the studies to be carried out on railway signalling in the short, medium and long term, and the necessary strategies and methods will be revealed.
