  • Managed the underwriting process (BRE) for RBL Bank’s Microfinance product. Expertly utilized SQL, Python and R to test and implement new rules for loan approvals.• Handled regular queries on data reliability and compliance from both internal and external auditors.• Developed an automated Python code for end to end testing of the underwriting process, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.• Identified a sharp spike in the approval rates in October 2024. Conducted a RCA under a tight deadline to correctly identify the bad customers, preventing INR 670 crore worth of sanctioned loans from being disbursed to such customers. • Received the 2024 Q-4 award for my role in the above analysis.• Led a bureau vs bureau POC analysis on a sample of 5 Lakh customer accounts. Conducted an EDA on both bureaus and concluded that the hit rate of customers on our existing bureau was 9% higher, however the exposure of the same customers was 20% higher as per the new bureau.• Used advanced SQL queries to analyze quarterly performance of users who opted for renewal loans, driving insights to improve overall portfolio performance.• Conducted secondary research to identify the root causes of rising NPAs for the bank and leveraged the insights to develop strategies that successfully reduced the NPA rate by 11% in 4 states.
