  The Alberta Continuing Care Association (ACCA) represents the owners and operators of continuing care facilities and home care and support organizations. Through advocacy, communication and partnership development, we provide support and representation for our members as they strive to provide outstanding continuing care for Albertans. Our members are experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about the continuing care sector. In ACCA activities, we seek member involvement to ensure our representation is accurate and informed. We continually work to remain an active stakeholder and source for relevant, accurate information on the sector, to better support our membership.My role with ACCA is to develop and execute the organization's communications strategy to a wide variety of stakeholders, in language that makes often complex and sensitive issues understandable. Our seniors and adults requiring continuing care deserve the best quality of life possible, when and where they need it, and the urgency around this begins with awareness! Through strategic partnerships, creative communications, and a collaborative approach, I am able to assist ACCA in achieving our vision of quality of care and quality of life for all seniors.
