Having served for almost twelve years as Chief Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Superintendent Engineer and Damage Control Officer at the Hellenic Navy, I had the chance to participate in several maintenances, inspections and troubleshooting as well as overhaulings of ship's engines and hull inspections during almost five dry dockings. Especially during the dry docking at Neorion Shipyard, that lasted almost four months, I was also responsible for the initial installation of the ship's main air conditioning system from HDW representative including relating automations and monitoring systems. In addition, my service as superintendent engineer at the rank of commander for two years in a group of vessels, whose engines were of diesel type, has given me the experience of managing and supporting ships in order to operate continuously, preventing any disturbances in theoperational as well as the logistics field. This experience is the strongest advantage I have in order to overcome any problem and fulfil the expectations of your company concerning the requirements of the specific job. Furthermore, my 32 year military service has given me the experience of managing people under different and demanding situations working as a team as well as following the chain of command.
