  Senior System Architect

  Renovau telecom wanted to disrupt Indian telecom industry by launching very low cost video telephony service in 2007. We started with vision to roll out product which should do at very low bandwidth usage and lowest possible cost over Mobile networks. It was based on IMS architecture which still in early stage.This product included the task of implementing the IP Based Multimedia System using the OpenSource Projects like Openser, Free Radius and Asterisk as a communication entities. This task is being carried out by completely modifying source base of these projects and scaling it to the higher capacity and reliability . OS and Network was fine tuned to match expected results . We worked on the different Linux Distors to achieve Carrier Grade Reliability which maters a lot in Telecom Domain. We also ensured the HIGH Availability all Server entity. Core signalling protocol was SIP to for signalling , RTP for audio/video transmission and RTCP for quality of on going audio communications.Testing was carried out by Test cases written in XML and then interpreted by SIPPP. Debugging was done by Valgrind and GDB. To Monitor whole setup customised NOC tool Nagios was used which gave complete dashboard of whole solution. Show less
