  I help veterans with all their needs when they call or come in. I help them find resources in the community and with the state and federal veteran benefits. I update State and County databases and fill out forms for veterans to get benefits. I interpret National VA database information for veteran requests. I put together the monthly newsletter with timely information on veteran changes and updates. I am a mentor for Veterans Treatment Court and help them stay out of jail and recover from their addictions. I do all other office duties as assigned. I participate in veteran outreach events.   I facilitated recovery groups to assist veterans to gain coping skills and an understanding of their addictions and traumas. I helped veterans find housing and employment and documented their progress in Case Notes for the state WDVA and HMIS databases.

I facilitate recovery groups and assist residents with community resources to help them when they graduate the program. I am facilitating recovery support groups and part of the clinical team to present training/education in the area of addiction for clients with substance issues.
